![]() The disc drives i tested where both Asus BC-12D2HT. Ryzen 5600x with a b550 chipset and a radeon 6800xt GPU. ![]() I am unable to roll back my windows version via "go back to an earlier build" section in recovery. I suspect this issue was caused by the first update i installed on the 28th. I have tried to update the BD drives driver, tested out different blu-ray playback software (power DVD 365, Leawo blu-ray player, Aiseesoft Blu-ray Player), tried updating my chipset drivers, and downloaded an optional update for windows 10 on 28/1. I know there is nothing physically wrong with the drive as i have tested a brand new drive of the same model and had the exact same issue. When i am not playing a movie but have a blu-ray disc in the drive, the drive will spool up to full speed for 62.5 seconds, then return to idle for 13 seconds, then spool back up to full speed for 62.5 seconds again in a never ending loop. I have tested several discs to make sure the disc was not the problem. This issue does not seem to occur with CD's or DVD's. Then the playback will continue normally for another 30-40 seconds when it will start to stutter again. From the drive i will hear a clicking sound, like the reader is seeking back and forth repeatedly several times per second. The drive will play a blu-ray disc, but after 30-40 seconds it will begin to stutter severely. Immediately following a windows 10 update i installed on the 28th of January, My BD drive stopped functioning properly.
